Moderation Policy

Given the increased amount of traffic this blog has been getting recently, I suppose it’s time I had an explicitly stated moderation policy, so here it is:

1. There will be no racism, sexism, bigotry, vilification or hate speech of any kind. Any such comments will be blocked/removed.

2. There will be no posts which are personally insulting to other posters. These will also be removed.

3. I’m not a prude about swearing/profanity, however before posting anything which may be offensive to others, please refer to points 1 and 2.

4. I may on occasion allow some posts which are personally insulting to me, so that I can answer them, but I make no promises.

5. Although I do want to encourage free speech and open discussion, ultimately this is my blog, it’s not a democracy, and my decisions are final. If you don’t like it, start your own blog.

6. If you have not posted here before I will have to approve your post to ensure it complies with the above guidelines. If this does not happen straight away, do not be concerned. I don’t do this full-time, and I may simply not have seen it yet. Your patience is appreciated.
